We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Co-ordinator to join a friendly, supportive, and positive Southwark College, working within the NCG Estates team. The role is varied with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.

You will be required to:

  • Lead and promote health and safety for the College, through open engagement with students, staff, and visitors.
  • Coordinate the development of health and safety policies, procedures, systems of work, supported by the Assistant Director of Health, Safety and Environment
  • Monitoring and maintain a range of digital technologies which enhance our safety management across the college; DSE and Training software, Evolve educational Visits, Internal health and Safety portal etc
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of legislation, guidance and best practice, and communicate relevant changes to affected parties.

As a Health and Safety Co-ordinator, you should be confident, well organised, and proactive with good IT skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will have a pivotal role in supporting the Curriculum and the Estates team, and no two days will be the same.

This is a diverse role where you will be building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders.
