Newcastle College is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader for their Music and Performing Arts Curriculum. Join Newcastle College as our new Head of Curriculum for Music and Performing Arts and become a pivotal force in shaping the future of our well-established provision.

With the landscape of these sectors experiencing significant growth and transformation, we seek a dynamic leader to drive our curriculum forward. You'll play a central role in delivering an outstanding student experience across Further Education, Higher Education, Adults, and Apprenticeships.

As Head of Curriculum, you'll be at the forefront of leadership, responsible for driving continuous improvement and exceeding key performance indicators. Your duties will include staff development and performance management, stakeholder engagement, curriculum development, and ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.

Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning our curriculum with local needs, addressing regional skills gaps, and fostering collaboration both within and outside the college. Managing budgets effectively, forging external partnerships, and promoting civic commitment will be integral aspects of your role.

We're seeking a candidate with substantial experience in the Music, Performing Arts, or Creative Industries sectors, coupled with a proven track record of team management in an educational setting. Exceptional organisational skills and a comprehensive understanding of FE, HE, Adult, and Apprenticeship funding, compliance, and delivery are essential.
